What are the benefits?

Ceramic Coatings Are Your Solution

Ceramic Coatings vary quite a bit in design and properties and there is almost always a trade off in properties. How so?
Easier to apply Coatings tend to contain a lot more ‘silicone’ based products. These are valued for their super water repellency and slickness.
Harder to apply Coatings tend to contain more ‘Silica’ based products. These are valued for their durability, scratch ressitance and glossy/wet looks.
All Ceramic based Coatings have the ability to resist chemical based damage such as solvents, acids, cleaning products, bird droppings which mean easier cleaning of the vehicle as the surface activiely resists sticking.
Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra gives you the best balance of all these properties with its 10h hardness, and super slick surface all backed by a 9-year warranty, for those who truly want the best coating protection for their vehicles without spending too much.
Not to be missed is Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light, offering around 80% of the protection, and still with a 5 Year warranty. This option has proved popular to customers.
For those want even better protection, we also offer C6 coatings which infuse diamonds into the coating allowing for 20+ years of protection.

Ceramic Coatings vary with how hard they are to install and also how long they last.
A “Professional only” coating can be far more durable than those that are designed to be installed by those with little to no training.
More often than not, “Lifetime” coatings are a marketing gimmik, backed by cost and time limits.
These coatings are usually designed, not to have the best protection, but to increase the profit to the dealer who sold it to you. Perhaps you notice that dealers are willing to negotiate on pricing with ceramic coating if you’re willing to buy from them?
Glossworks offers some of the best coatings on the market, they do what they say on the label, and are backed by Glossworks expertice and knowledge. This enables us to do our industry leading coatings for the best price.

Look at an example of a “lifetime” coating on a vehicle that is now less than 6 months old, vs how Glossworks Premium Ceramic Coatings work——>>>>

How Long Do Ceramic Coatings Last?

Ceramic spray coatings will last anywhere from 1-6 months generally and are sold as an easy home user type product, similar to a ‘spray wax’.
Interior ceramics will last a similar time but can last longer depending on the surface and product. Some products sold as “ceramic” coatings may actually use other technology that is not Silica or Silicone base.
Exterior ceramics generally last the longest, with glass coating lasting 18+ months for a true ceramic coating. Other products such as those containing PTFE (sold as products like Teflon) can achieve reasonable lengths of time up to 12 months.
‘True’ ceramic coatings can last from 12 months to many years, a decade or longer. Some are sold as “lifetime” coatings. As a side note:
Consider though that a lifetime coating (wholesale product cost only) is more than what dealers sell a lifetime coating installed for.
